Export and retention

Download the saved document as Markdown or HTML. Both carry the ticket the team has agreed on: whatever is still under review is left out, and rejected changes never appear in any format. Google Drive export is deferred.

Word (.docx) carries the agreed ticket too, and the open suggestions as Word's own tracked changes, each signed with its author and date, so Accept and Reject in Word do what Approve and Reject do here. Comments become Word comments, and an AI suggestion's reason is a comment beside it. AI text nobody has reviewed yet is marked as an insertion by Scopeleaf AI. Your browser builds the file; upload it again and its changes and comments come back in a new document as suggestions and comments.

Markdown with review is the one to pick when a ticket has to leave mid-review. It writes the pending suggestions and comments into the file itself as CriticMarkup — {~~old~>new~~} for a proposed wording, {==passage==}{>>comment<<} for a comment on a passage — and ends with a short YAML block saying who wrote each one and when, and which spans are AI, human, or AI text nobody has read yet. That is Roughdraft Flavored Markdown: every editor shows the words, and nothing needs an app to read the file.

Closing a document keeps it and ends access: guests lose it and the AI stops, and the host reopens it from Documents, in Closed. Nothing is deleted because nobody used it. Delete document, in the More menu, removes it at once and cannot be undone. A prototype, and a template saved from a document with what it copied of the document, stay until you delete them or your account. A final document you accept stays in your account until you delete it or your account. Closing the session does not delete it. A project or a final document can have a board that you share with a link. It stays until you delete the project, the final document or your account, and it holds what the people you shared it with wrote there. A board you make from Home is shared the same way and stays until you delete it or your account. On any board, each of your documents on it has a frame with its title and its sections, updated from the document each time the board is opened; deleting the document takes that frame and its notes off. A note someone copies from it is their own, like text they paste, and stays. A document's own board is deleted with the document. Comments on a board stay with the board, with their authors' names, and you can remove your own. Deleting your account deletes your own boards with their comments, and keeps your comments on other people's boards, signed “Someone”. After each grooming, Scopeleaf keeps an AI summary in the host's Second Brain: what was agreed, what stayed open and the terms the team confirmed, with the document's title and the grooming's date, without the participants' names. It stays until the host deletes the item, all memory, or the account; closing the session does not delete it. Mark the ticket ready, export it, then close. The close dialog reminds you: export first, this cannot be undone.
