Straightforward terms for focused work.
These terms describe the basic agreement for people who create or join a feature-refinement session: who provides Scopeleaf, the plans and AI points, the pilot, cancelling and withdrawal, personal data in your content, complaints, and connected services.
Last updated October 19, 2026
Who provides Scopeleaf
Scopeleaf is provided by REL8 PIOTR SŁABOSZ (short name REL8), a sole proprietorship in Poland, at ul. Kampinoska 28/1, 05-082 Stare Babice, Poland (NIP 1181571869, REGON 142297754). Write to kontakt@rel8.pl.
These terms are the regulamin of the electronic service: they are free to read here before you sign up, and you can save or print this page. They apply to every host and every guest. By creating an account or joining a session you accept them. A paid plan starts at checkout. Polish law applies, and the service is offered in English.
Using Scopeleaf
You may use the service to draft, discuss, refine, and export work that you are allowed to share. You are responsible for your account, invitations, exported documents, and the decisions your team makes from AI-assisted output. Scopeleaf is a tool for professional work.
You need a current web browser with JavaScript on, cookies and local storage allowed for sign-in, and an internet connection. Scopeleaf is built for use on a computer.
Hosts and guests
The person who creates a session is its host, and the host's plan applies to the session. Invited guests join without a paid seat, and the AI steps they take in the session spend the host's points. On Starter a session takes up to 8 guests; Business has no fixed cap. During GrillMe, one participant acts as operator while the rest of the team follows live. The host is responsible for controlling invitations and private join links.
Plans and AI points
Starter costs €19 a month or €190 a year per host, with 900 AI points a month; Business costs €49 a month or €490 a year per host, with 2,700 AI points a month. Prices are per host, not per guest. Yearly plans receive the same monthly points.
Each AI step spends points in line with what that step really costs to run, so a longer interview spends more than a short one. Points have no stated euro value. Points renew on the billing day each month, and unused points do not carry over.
Payment and renewal
A subscription needs a valid payment method. The first charge is taken at checkout, and the subscription then renews each month or year until cancelled. The checkout screen shows the charge before the host confirms. There is no public free trial: trial accounts are given privately, as a pilot on points (see Pilot).
A trial already running when checkout stopped offering trials runs to its end with a quarter of the plan's monthly points (225 on Starter, 675 on Business). Unless the host cancels before it ends, the first charge is taken when it ends.
When the points run out
A GrillMe interview starts only when the host has at least 30 points. An interview already running may finish up to 50 points below zero; those points come out of the next balance the host receives. An interview that reaches that limit pauses and keeps its answers, and the session can still be exported as Incomplete. At zero, new AI steps do not start, while the editor, export, guests and everything already written keep working.
Top-ups
On Business, the host can buy 1,000 points for €19. Top-up points last 12 months from the purchase, and a top-up is not refunded once points from it have been used.
Pilot
A pilot is Scopeleaf's trial account. It is given privately, only by invitation from Scopeleaf, once per account, with no card and no charge. It gives 300 points, valid for 30 days, with the features of Business. When it ends, the account can buy a plan.
Changing plans
Moving from Starter to Business takes effect at once, and the difference in price is prorated. The balance rises to the Business points, less what was used this month. Moving from Business to Starter takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Cancelling and refunds
The host can cancel at any time, with access until the end of the paid period. A monthly plan is not refunded for a month already started. A yearly plan is refunded in full within 14 days of its first yearly charge, or of the switch from monthly to yearly.
Withdrawal for consumers
If you subscribe as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the start of your subscription (for one that began with a trial, the day the trial began). The same right belongs to a sole trader who subscribes for a purpose that is not professional for them (Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). Use the Withdraw from contract button on the Billing page, or e-mail kontakt@rel8.pl. The subscription ends at once and we refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the days you used it. We refund without delay, and within 14 days of learning of your decision, to the payment method you used.
Any clear statement is enough, such as an e-mail or a letter. You may use the form below, but you do not have to. You keep the right if you send the statement before the 14 days end.
- To: REL8 PIOTR SŁABOSZ, ul. Kampinoska 28/1, 05-082 Stare Babice, Poland, kontakt@rel8.pl.
- I withdraw from my contract for the service: Scopeleaf Starter or Business (delete one).
- Date of the contract:
- My name and address:
- My signature (only if this form is on paper):
- Date:
Prices, VAT and price changes
Prices are in euros and exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies; EU businesses with a valid VAT ID are reverse-charged. We announce a price change 30 days before it takes effect, and a subscriber keeps their price for at least 12 months from the day they subscribed.
Ending the contract
You can stop at any time. Cancel your plan (see Cancelling and refunds), and delete your account to end the contract between us. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other customers at risk; where we can, we explain the reason by e-mail. What happens to your content when the contract ends is set out in Session deletion and in the privacy policy.
Your content
You keep your rights to the content you bring into a session and the output your team creates. The law may give no copyright to text that an AI wrote without human creative input, and Scopeleaf does not promise that AI output is protected. You give us the limited permission needed to process that content and operate the session. Export is the way to take the ticket out of Scopeleaf; a prototype keeps its own copy until you delete it (see the privacy policy). Export before you delete the session.
Acceptable use
Do not use Scopeleaf to break the law, put unlawful content into it, infringe another person's rights, upload malicious material, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or attempt to extract other customers' data. Do not use the service for a practice the EU AI Act prohibits, such as scoring people by their social behaviour, and do not use AI output alone to decide something that significantly affects a person. Do not use the service to build a competing product. Where a plan has no fixed cap, we may limit use that harms the service.
AI and your content
When you use an AI feature, you authorize Scopeleaf to send the relevant document text, instructions, session context, Scrapbook items you ask about, and GrillMe answers to OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to. Their separate terms and data practices apply. Scopeleaf does not promise that every model provider has the same retention or training policy.
AI suggestions, questions, and refined-ticket proposals can be incomplete or incorrect. Your team must review them before relying on or exporting the result. Scopeleaf does not make product, legal, security, or architecture decisions on your behalf.
You are told when you deal with AI, and text the AI writes is marked as AI text in the document, as the privacy policy describes under AI and your content. Some downloads do not carry the mark. If you publish AI-written text to inform the public, the EU AI Act (Article 50(4)) may require you to say it is AI-written, unless a person has reviewed it and holds editorial responsibility for it. That duty is yours.
Personal data in your content
For personal data that you or your guests put into Scopeleaf, you (the host, or the company you act for) are the controller and REL8 is your processor. This section is the processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR. It is part of these terms and lasts as long as REL8 holds that data for you.
- Subject and purpose. REL8 stores what you put into sessions, prototypes, templates, projects, final documents and boards, shows it to the people you invite, and processes it with AI when you ask, to provide Scopeleaf to you.
- Data and people. The data is whatever you or your guests type or upload. It can name your team, your guests and other people mentioned in a ticket. Do not put special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) into Scopeleaf.
- Your instructions. REL8 processes the data only on your documented instructions: these terms and your use of Scopeleaf's features, including AI features. If the law requires something else, REL8 tells you first, unless the law forbids it.
- Confidentiality. People at REL8 who can reach the data are bound to keep it confidential.
- Security. REL8 applies measures that suit the risk (Article 32): encrypted connections, content kept out of error reports and analytics, and encrypted integration tokens.
- Providers. You allow REL8 to use the providers listed in the privacy policy under Who receives your data, and where it runs. REL8 binds each by contract to obligations equal to these and remains responsible for them. Before a new provider starts to process your content, REL8 updates that list and tells hosts by e-mail. A host who objects can export their content, delete it and stop using Scopeleaf.
- Transfers. Transfers outside the EU rest on the safeguards the privacy policy lists under Transfers outside the EU.
- Help. REL8 helps you answer requests from the people concerned, and helps with security, breach notification and impact assessments, in proportion to what it holds. It tells you without undue delay after it learns of a breach of your content.
- Deletion and return. You can export your content at any time and delete it. The privacy policy sets out what is deleted when, and what stays with providers.
- Proof and audits. On written request REL8 gives you the information needed to show it meets this section, for example answers to a security questionnaire, and allows the audits the law requires, with reasonable notice, during business hours and at your cost.
REL8 is the controller of your account, billing, analytics and support data. The privacy policy covers it.
Exports and connected services
HTML, Markdown and Word downloads leave Scopeleaf and remain wherever you save them. A Word download also carries the open suggestions and comments, with their authors' names. Google Drive export is currently deferred and is not offered in the MVP. The Drive integration uses the limited drive.file scope. Any previously exported files remain in Google Drive until you remove them there, even after the Scopeleaf session is deleted.
If you connect Jira, Scopeleaf uses the read-only access you grant in Atlassian to list your Jira sites and to read the tickets you ask it to import. It never changes anything in Jira. An imported ticket becomes a document on your account, like an upload. You must be allowed to bring that content into Scopeleaf under your organisation's rules. You can disconnect Jira at any time in Settings → Integrations, and remove Scopeleaf from your Atlassian account's connected apps.
If you connect your company's own Jira with a personal access token, Scopeleaf uses that token only to read the tickets you ask it to import, with your own Jira permissions, and never changes anything in Jira. You must be allowed to use a token this way under your organisation's rules. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Integrations, and revoke the token in Jira.
If a host asks Scopeleaf to send an invitation, Resend processes the recipient address, session title, and private join link to deliver the e-mail. You must have a valid reason to contact the recipient and permission to share the session with them.
Session deletion
When the host closes a session, access ends for everyone else and the AI stops, but the content is kept and the host can reopen it. A session is deleted when its host deletes it, or deletes their account; nothing is deleted because nobody used it. Export anything the team needs before you delete it. A prototype you build is not part of the session: it stays until you delete it or your account, and so does a template you save from a document, with what it copied of that document. A final document you accept stays in your account until you delete it or your account. Closing the session does not delete it. A document's board is part of its session. A project's or a final version's board, with what its people put on it, stays until its owner deletes the project or the final version, or their account. On any board, a document of its owner's can have a frame with its title and its sections, updated from the document each time the board is opened; a document that is deleted takes its frame, with those notes and what was written inside it, off every board, and one taken out of the project leaves the project's board. A note someone copies from it is their own, like text they paste, and stays. A board made from Home, with what its people put on it, stays until its owner deletes it or their account. A board's comments stay with the board, and their author can remove them. Deleting an account deletes its own boards with their comments, and keeps its comments on other people's boards, signed “Someone”. After each grooming, Scopeleaf keeps an AI summary in the host's Second Brain: what was agreed, what stayed open and the terms the team confirmed, with the document's title and the grooming's date, without the participants' names. It stays until the host deletes the item, all memory, or the account; closing the session does not delete it. Session deletion does not remove exported files or data that a connected provider processes under its own retention policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service dependable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, Scopeleaf is provided without implied warranties and our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the prior three months. These limits do not apply to harm we cause on purpose, to a consumer's rights that the law does not let us limit, or to anything else the law does not let us limit.
Complaints
If something is wrong with the service, write to kontakt@rel8.pl with the word Complaint, the e-mail address of your account and what went wrong. We answer within 14 days of receiving it. If you are a consumer, you can also ask a municipal consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) for help, or go to court.
Reporting illegal content
To report content in Scopeleaf that you believe is illegal, write to kontakt@rel8.pl in English or Polish. Say where the content is, why you think it is illegal, give your name and e-mail address, and state that you act in good faith. We review the report, tell you our decision and how you can challenge it. Authorities can reach us at the same address.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We post the new text here with its date. If a change matters to hosts, we tell them by e-mail before it applies, and a host who does not agree can cancel before then. A price change follows Prices, VAT and price changes.
Governing law
Polish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
Questions
Questions about these terms, and requests about personal data, can be sent to kontakt@rel8.pl.
