Account and billing
Plans, points and billing
One person, the host, pays. Everyone they invite is free, and the AI steps in the host's documents spend the host's points.
Plans and the pilot
- Starter
- €19 a month or €190 a year per host, excluding VAT. 900 AI points a month; up to 8 guests per document; 5 own templates and 3 projects.
- Business
- €49 a month or €490 a year per host, excluding VAT. 2,700 AI points a month; guests with no fixed cap; 50 own templates and 50 projects.
- Mentor
- Everything in Business, plus 5 hours a month with experienced product owners and the customers' forum. Its price is agreed on a call, from the Mentor card on Pricing.
- Pilot
- There is no public trial. Trial accounts are given privately by the owner, as a pilot: 300 points for 30 days with Business's features, no card.
- Guests
- Free, always. They need an account, not a plan.
Without a plan, the app offers Choose a plan: pick monthly or yearly, then Subscribe to Starter or Subscribe to Business opens a secure checkout run by Stripe, which takes the first payment; Scopeleaf never sees the card. If you leave the checkout, nothing is charged and you can start again. Where the owner has set it up, the plan sheet also offers Book a call: after a short call, a named pilot with 300 points for 30 days is added to your account, with no card.
AI points
Every AI step, from a review to a GrillMe interview or a proposal, spends points in line with what it really costs, so a short interview costs less than a long one. The header always shows the balance; guests see it as Host's points. The activity list shows what each step took, and a costly step shows an estimate before it starts.
- You have used 80 % of this month's points.
- A notice for the host, shown from 80 % used until the plan's points renew; at zero the notice below takes its place.
- Out of points — upgrade or top up to continue.
- New AI steps stop; the editor, export and guests keep working. A GrillMe interview starts only with at least 30 points left, and one already running may finish up to 50 points below zero, then pauses with its answers kept.
Plan points renew on your billing day each month, yearly plans too, and do not carry over. At zero, Starter is offered Business, and Business can buy a top-up of 1,000 points for €19, valid for 12 months; the monthly points are used first.
The billing page
Billing in the app's account menu shows your plan, the points left, what this period used and when the points renew. Manage billing opens Stripe's own page for the payment method, invoices, changing plan and cancelling. An upgrade is immediate and prorated, and the balance tops up to the new plan's points less what this month used; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid period. A cancelled plan keeps working until the period ends.
Withdraw from contract, at the bottom of the page for 14 days from the start of your subscription, is the EU consumer's withdrawal: it ends the subscription at once, not at the end of the period. After those 14 days the button is gone and cancelling ends the plan at the end of the paid period. The terms say what is refunded.
- Your payment is past due · unpaid
- A charge failed. Hosting pauses until the payment method is updated from Manage billing; documents you were invited to keep working.
- Your subscription is paused
- Resume it from Manage billing when you are ready.
- Restart your subscription
- A previous subscription ended. Start a new one to host documents again.
- Keep hosting after your pilot
- Your pilot is active. Choose a plan to keep hosting when it ends.
Limits inside a document
A few limits are per document rather than per plan, and the product names them when they apply. The interview has no fixed question count, but each AI call also draws on the document’s budget; when it is spent, the interview says This document has reached its AI call limit for this action and the work is saved (Answering questions). A material is at most 2 MB and 40,000 characters. An external agent may send ten proposals per request and sixty requests a minute.
The numbers, as implemented, are also on the reference page; the plans side by side on Pricing.
