Getting started
Open Scopeleaf as a desktop app
Scopeleaf can run in its own window, with its own icon on the Windows taskbar. Nothing is downloaded: Chrome or Edge opens it as an app.
Open it the first time
- On scopeleaf.com, click Open app at the top right, then Continue.
- Chrome or Edge asks once whether to install Scopeleaf. Click Install.
- Scopeleaf opens in its own window. Sign in there.
No question from the browser? In Chrome, click the install icon in the address bar, or open ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app. In Edge, open … → Apps → Install this site as an app.
Open it next time
Click Open app on the site again, or the Scopeleaf icon in the Start menu. To keep the icon on the taskbar, right-click it there and choose Pin to taskbar. Right-click the icon for New document, Documents and GrillMe.
The window has no address bar. To go back, press Alt + ←. To reload the page, press F5.
Signing in and out
The window shares its sign-in with the browser it came from. If you are signed in there, you are signed in in the window too. If not, sign in in the window, the same way as on the site.
Sign out from the account menu. To use Scopeleaf in a browser tab instead, go to scopeleaf.com/sign-in in the browser.
Links to Scopeleaf
A Scopeleaf link from e-mail or chat can open in the window. When the window shows a document, a board or an Epic, the link opens in a new window, so your work stays where it is. Anywhere else, the window goes to the link.
Which browsers
Chrome and Edge on Windows. In another browser, Open app opens Scopeleaf in a tab. Scopeleaf needs an internet connection, in the window too.
Remove the app
In the window, open its menu (⋮ in Chrome, … in Edge) and choose to uninstall Scopeleaf. Your account and your documents stay as they are.
